FreshFood Live Concept is a performance which stands far from traditional Dj sets; being used to think of the club console as comprised of decks and mixer, we'll be surprised to see a completely new set-up with decks and mixer but also with culinary products! It's not surprising that music should go along with food since FreshFood performances have at heart to unite different worlds in a reality where 2 dj's, 2 chefs and a camera operator coexist, and each one has a distinct role: to mix the right ingredients, that is music, video-art and cooking.
While the 2 dj's mix at the same time with 4 decks and 2 mixers, the chefs prepare the food that will then be served to the audience; they cut, whisk and decorate food of all sorts carrying along the sounds of culinary art with the constant rhythm of electronic music which the dj's 'prepare' on stage.
The chef carefully prepares dishes which surprise the punters who are initially baffled by what is going on at the back of the dance floor, but helped by the camera operator which films, mixes and projects live the images of what is happening between 'the knives and the decks' on screens all around the venue, to further involve the punter; but this not all: now, after having collected and sampled the sounds from the chefs at work (knives, blenders, etc.), it is the dj's who perfect the recipe by reproducing, effecting and mixing in those sounds which are carefully directed by microphones into the sound cards. The sound which derives from it is energetically marked by the tracks played but especially by what the chefs provide, in other words the magic of food.

And finally, to add the last element, it is the audience who become part of the performance by eating the food just cooked and decorated to give pleasure to the palate as well as the eye.

In conclusion, a performance not to be missed!! On stage the five senses to transform a night out into a sensory experience where the pleasure of being together is amplified by being transported not just by the good music played by the dj's (who have proved themselves in so many occasions) but also, and especially, by the novelty on offer with this performance.

FreshFood Live Concept è una performance ben lontana dai tradizionali dj-set; soliti a pensare ad una consolle impegnata ad ospitare piatti e mixer, ci stupirà trovarci ad osservare un nuovo set allestito stavolta sempre con piatti, ma culinari! Non sorprenda se la musica si accompagna al cibo perché assistere ad una performance FRESHFOOD significa unire mondi diversi in cui coesistono 2 Dj's / 2 Chef e 1 cameraman, ognuno dei quali ha un compito ben preciso... miscelare gli ingredienti giusti ovvero quelli dell’arte musicale, la video-art e il cooking!!
Mentre I due dj's mixano simultaneamente con 4 piatti e due mixer, gli chefs si adoperano a preparare piatti freddi che poi saranno serviti al pubblico; tagliano decorano e frullano pietanze di ogni tipo accompagnando i suoni dell’arte culinaria al ritmo incessante della musica Elettronica che i due dj's “preparano” on the stage. Lo chef è attento alle pietanze per sorprendere l’ospite che ballando osserva inizialmente perplesso ciò che accade sul background della pista, anche aiutato dalla presenza del cameraman che con più riprese d’effetto filma,mixa e riproduce ciò che avviene tra “dischi e coltelli” proiettandolo il tutto in diretta su schermi che circondano gli spettatori così da riprodurre lo show live e rendere gli stessi ancora più partecipi all’evento; ma ancora non si contempla il perfetto risultato… ora sono i due dj che rendono ottimale la ricetta “mescolando” i beat musicali con gli effetti procurati durante la preparazione del food dagli chef (coltelli frullatori pestati ecc…), attentamente amplificati da microfoni collegati direttamente alla scheda audio. Ne deriva così un sound energico scandito dalle tracce dei dischi ma soprattutto esasperato dal tintinnio di posate, dal battito del coltello, dalla magia del cibo insomma!

E per concludere.. manca un pizzico di qualcosa che renda la pietanza speciale… a mancare è il diretto contatto del pubblico con la performance che da spettatore diventa protagonista interagendo con la performance assaggiando ciò che viene preparato in console e direttamente distribuito in platea con decorazioni e allestimenti accattivanti all’occhio e al palato…

Insomma una performance da non perdere!!in scena i cinque sensi per trasformare una serata in un esperienza sensoriale in cui si amplifica il piacere dello stare insieme e del farsi trasportare non solo dall’ottima musica che questi dj’s hanno già avuto modo di dimostrare in diverse circostanze, ma anche e soprattutto dalle novità che offrono al loro spettacolo
